Interpretation Courses Litomyšl
2025
The 52nd edition of the Interpretation Courses will take place in 2025, the 20th time they will be held in Litomyšl. This eleven-day program combines performance masterclasses with a creative chamber music workshop, catering to both individual musicians and chamber ensembles.
The Interpretation Courses in Litomyšl are open to aspiring professional and amateur musicians, particularly students of conservatories, music grammar schools, and music academies, as well as talented pupils of music schools and their teachers.
As every year, the program offers individual performance courses. In 2025, we are opening six classes in violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, and flute. Additionally, participants may choose to join a chamber string orchestra or take part in chamber music sessions.
All participants can engage in creative workshops and a diverse range of accompanying activities. Moreover, we are once again preparing a series of captivating evening concerts featuring not only our esteemed faculty but also distinguished guests and world-renowned performers.
VENUE
The courses will take place in the classrooms of the Bedřich Smetana School of Music (address: Rektora Stříteského 194, 570 01 Litomyšl) and the club rooms of the Youth Home in Litomyšl – Higher Vocational School of Pedagogy and the Secondary School of Pedagogy in Litomyšl (address: Youth Home of the Higher Vocational School of Pedagogy and the Secondary School of Education in Litomyšl, Strakovská 1071, 570 01 Litomyšl).

Courses
The courses begin with an afternoon arrival on Monday, 7 July 2025, and conclude with a morning departure on Friday, 18 July 2025.
Applications
Applications for the 2025 Interpretation Courses will be open from 1 March 2025 to 30 April 2025.
Payments
Course fees, as well as accommodation and meal payments, must be completed by 30 April 2025.
